Before you connect Xero
To count your invoice PDFs, Unapprove has to read your invoice list, so Xero will ask you to let it in. Counting and downloading only read: nothing in your books changes.
What Xero will ask you to allow
- Invoices, bills and credit notes: read and change
- Read for previews, counts and PDF downloads. Changed only in a run you confirm by typing, such as UNAPPROVE 37. accounting.invoices
- Attached files: read and add
- Read to download them. Added only when a run you confirmed copies them onto a draft. accounting.attachments
- Organisation settings: read only
- Lock dates, tax rates and accounts, so the checks are right for your books. accounting.settings.read
- Contacts: read only
- Customer and supplier names, and whether a contact is archived. accounting.contacts.read
- Your name and email address
- To sign you in. We never see your Xero password. openid profile email
- Staying connected
- So a run can finish without another sign-in. Disconnect at any time, here or in Xero. offline_access
